At some point, your kitchen sink or bathroom shower drain will need to be cleaned to remove drain clogs that obstruct the drain. It's always best to try and avoid clogged drain situations in the first place. Never use sinks and toilets as waste baskets. Do not shove grease down the drain, or flush diapers or sanitary products down your toilet. These are some of the most common causes of clogged drains. Run hot water through your drains to remove any grease that may have began to clog. Take care not to place shells, bones, coffee grounds and other objects into your garbage disposal. Use strainers to cover all bath tubs and shower drains, and keep these clean.
